As a Certified County Commissioner, I am running for Fulton County Chairman because I believe it is time to pass the baton to the next generation of leadership—and to lead Fulton County into its strongest chapter yet. Our best days are ahead of us, but only if we have leadership that unites us, invests in our people, and fights for every corner of our county.
Having hosted more than 100 town halls, I know this: Fulton County residents are paying attention. They are informed, engaged, and ready for leadership that is fresh but seasoned—leadership that values their voices, understands county needs, and treats taxpayer dollars with care and respect.
For the past 11 years, I’ve served the residents of Fulton County with one unwavering commitment: show up, listen, and deliver results. During that time, I have had the responsibility of directly representing nearly half of Fulton County as a district commissioner—including Atlanta, East Point, College Park, South Fulton, Union City, Fairburn, Palmetto, and Chattahoochee Hills. I’ve been present in these communities, listening to residents, responding to concerns, and turning local priorities into county action.
At the same time, my service has always been countywide. I have consistently voted for and supported initiatives that benefit all 15 cities of Fulton County—including investments in libraries, the animal shelter, the water reclamation facility, MARTA, Grady Health System, Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) agreements, and TSPLOST transportation initiatives, along with other critical infrastructure and public services that keep Fulton County moving forward.
I’ve seen what’s possible when we put people over politics, transparency over back-room deals, and collaboration over conflict. But I’ve also seen how our county suffers when leadership is divided—when North Fulton and South Fulton are treated as separate instead of interconnected, when cities are excluded from meaningful partnership, and when opportunity and investment are unevenly distributed.
That must change.
Sufficiently funding our justice partners so Fulton County can come out from under the federal consent decree and deliver a justice system that is fair, effective, and accountable.
Driving inclusive economic development by building strong partnerships with our cities and the business community—ensuring collaboration fuels growth, attracts investment, and creates real economic opportunities for Fulton County residents.
Improving mobility throughout the county, including transportation and infrastructure investments that connect people to jobs, schools, and services.
Investing in our workforce, so the people who serve Fulton County can afford to live here and build stable futures.
Providing dedicated funding for Arts & Culture, recognizing that creative economies, cultural institutions, and local artists are not extras—they are economic drivers, community builders, and a reflection of who we are as a county.
Strengthening services for our seniors, ensuring access to reliable transportation to key destinations, along with engaging and consistent programming at our senior centers so older adults can remain active, connected, and supported.
Expanding wraparound services for veterans, honoring their service with the comprehensive support they deserve.
Creating strategic healthcare partnerships to advance health equity and eliminate acute care deserts below I-20, ensuring residents have timely access to emergency, inpatient, and critical medical services close to where they live.
That is why I’m running for Chairman—to bring proven leadership, collaboration, and results to every resident in every community across Fulton County. Not as North Fulton or South Fulton. Not as city versus city. But as One Fulton—united in purpose and moving forward together.
The work continues, and I’m ready to lead Fulton County into its best chapter yet.
Yours In Service,
Certified* County Commissioner
