📜 Truth. Accountability. Action. Results.

Today, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported what many families in Fulton County have known for generations: the historic harms inflicted on Black residents are real—and they are worth billions.

I want to thank the Fulton County Reparations Task Force for their tireless, courageous work in producing this comprehensive 636-page Harm Report, documenting the lasting impacts of slavery, segregation, discrimination, and government policy on Black communities in Fulton County.

As the Fulton County Commissioner that authored the legislation that created the Reparations Task Force, and secured the $250,000 in county funding required to produce this report i am proud of the work done by the taskforce..

This work did not happen by accident—it happened because we made a conscious decision to confront the truth and put facts on the record.

This report is not about the past alone. It is about repairing harm, shaping policy, and building a more just future for generations to come.

The work continues—but today, we acknowledge the truth. ✊🏾
